36 Degrees North, a Tulsa-based hub for entrepreneurship, celebrated $1 billion in economic impact by showing off their upcoming new building, which is expected to open in late 2024.
With three sites in Tulsa’s downtown, 36 Degrees North provides support to remote workers, startups, and entrepreneurs. The group has helped more than 3,000 members expand and establish businesses in the area throughout the past eight years. The nonprofit stated that in 2023 it contributed to the growth of 445 enterprises, the creation of nearly 3,200 jobs, and more than $200 million in funding and total sales.
The newest building will be 115,000 square feet and feature meeting rooms, an on-site cafe and bar, an event area that can hold 300 people, and internal incubator and accelerator programs.
